AQUA PLUS System

Graphene micromorter with high hydrophobic protection, perfect in humid areas and environments in direct contact with water such as bathtubs, showers, swimming pools, saunas, etc. Specially prepared to withstand abundant loads of chlorine and salt maintained in direct and prolonged contact.

Application summary

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION AND WATERPROOFING
– The substrate must be clean, dry, smooth, firm and pore-free with no cracks or fractures.
– Apply a liberal coat of Waterproofing AQUA+.

 

FIBERGLASS MESH APPLICATION
– Set the Fiberglass Mesh”V” AQUA Plus and apply Union Bridge AQUA.
– Allow to dry for 2 hours.
– Estimated performance: 100 g/m2.

 

APPLY 2 COATS OF SMARTCOVER BASE AQUA (WITH GRAPHENE) WITH METAL TROWEL
– Mix 1 kg of SmartCOVER Base AQUA with graphene with 400-550 cc of Resin Mixture AQUA with graphene, depending on the workability may be required.
– Estimated performance: 1 kg/m2 per coat.
– Estimated pot life: 1 hour.
– Allow to dry for 6-8 hours.
– Sand with 80-grit.

 

APPLY 2 COATS OF SMARTCOVER FINE AQUA (WITH GRAPHENE) WITH PLASTIC TROWEL
– In order to obtain “burnt effect” apply the product with metal trowel.
– Mix 1 kg of SmartCOVER Fine AQUA with graphene with 400-550 cc of Resin Mixture AQUA with graphene, depending on the workability may be required.
– Estimated performance: 350 g/m2 per coat.
– Estimated pot life: 1 hour.
– Allow to dry for 3-8 hours.
– Sand with 120-grit.

 

APPLY COAT OF ACRILAT SEALER AQUA
– Estimated performance: 100 g/m2.
– After the coat allow to dry 2 hours.

 

APPLY NANOCOAT 2K SUPER WATERPROOFING
– Estimated performance: 100 g/m2.
– It is recommended to apply with a roller or brush (depending on the substrate to be protected).
– Mix by weight BASE (part A) : HARDENER (part B) = 4: 1.
– Apply two layers forming a cross.
