UNE 48250: Abrasion Resistance. Taber Method

Results obtained after testing with the Taber method of 250 cycles with abrasive wheels made of resilient material (CS107) and subsequent extrapolation to 1,000 cycles. Weight of 1,000 g on each arm of the abrasimeter.

DIN 52617: Determination of the coefficient of water absorption in building materials

Results obtained after testing with a Karsten graduated tube of 25.5 mm internal diameter. The absorption reading is made at 10 and 60 min after the inside of the tube is filled with water.

UNE ENV 12633: Determination of slip resistance of polished and unpolished pavements

Results obtained after testing with a pendulum (type 48-B0190/2 CONTROLS) made up of a type 4S rubber skid that rubs against the surface and on a C scale. Record of measurements of five successive readings that do not differ by more than 3 units between them , as well as five other measurements, made after turning the specimen 180º.

UNE EN 14527:2006 + A1: 2010 Apdo.8.2.: Chemical resistance

This test determines the resistance of finishes to certain chemical products. After depositing the product on the surface and keeping it covered with watch glasses for 2 hours, the product must be removed without leaving a permanent stain.

UNE EN 13529: Determination of resistance to chemical attacks

This test determines the resistance of finishes to chemical attacks by directly exposing the surface to the following products for 7 days:

UNE 127007: Impact resistence

This test determines the resistance to impact by means of the successive fall of a 1 kg steel ball on the same point, increasing the height by 5 cm in each fall. The drop height set for this standardized test is 1 m.

UNE EN 1015-12: Determination of the adhesion resistance of hardened mortars applied on supports

Results obtained after a break of the adhesive type, that is, produced in the area between the mortar and the support. The value of the test is the resulting average of the values obtained in 5 different repetitions on the same sample.

UNE 67101: Determination of surface scratch hardness

This test determines the scratch hardness of the surface by applying the Mohs scale method.

UNE 127004: Freezing test

The samples are subjected to 10 temperature cycles of 24 hours (100 ºC – 12 hours and -15 ºC – 12 hours).
